The metro area ranks among the top 50 in net growth in manufacturing sector employment, according to data prepared by Headlight, a data information system. According to the data, 1,000 new manufacturing jobs came to the Miami Valley between January of 2014 and January of 2015.
This ranks the region at No. 48 in America and further showcases the region as a manufacturing power.
