One of the largest nonprofit fundraising events in the Dayton area broke a record this year.
Dayton Children's Hospital announced Friday its CHA-CHA fundraising event held this month raised a total of $512,085 — significantly topping the $433,138 raised in 2013. The event, put on by the Dayton Children's Hospital Women's Board, benefits the newborn intensive care unit, or NICU.
