Wright-Patterson Air Force Base is moving forward with a $7.1 million project to upgrade its airfield.
Cleveland-based Pinnacle Construction Development Group Inc. won the deal to replace the Taxiway C East Ramp at Wright-Patt, a critical stretch of more than 1,500 feet. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville office awarded the contract late Thursday.
Three other companies bid on the project, which was estimated to cost as much as $10 million.
