Edison Community College has named a new college president.
Doreen Larson, president of Pierpont Community College and Technical College in West Virginia, will become president of the two-year college in Piqua.
The new president — who starts July 1 — will lead one of the largest colleges in the Dayton region. Edison has more than 3,000 students and is the seventh-largest area college or university, according to the DBJ Book of Lists.
