Standard Register asks bankruptcy court for more time

Standard Register Co. wants an extension to file its chapter 11 bankruptcy plan. The Dayton-based company on Wednesday filed a motion requesting an additional 90 days to get the plan in order. Standard Register is reaching a 120-day limit for the exclusive right to propose and file a plan. If the extension is denied, any party with an interest would be free to propose a chapter 11 plan.
