
Huber Heights is in negotiations to buy land for a new $2.9 million fire station.
City council voted Monday night to approve the purchase of about two acres of land at 9975 Old Troy Pike for a cost of not more than $200,000 from Northtowne Apartments LLC, a company created by Mid-Ohio Development Corp. of Columbus. That sale, pending a few final details, will be finalized in the next few days, said Huber Heights City Manager Rob Schommer.
